Giveaway - Life Is A Gift

Every mother remembers the first time she held her baby and counted each little finger and toe.The amazing perfection of a tiny newborn is breathtaking. There is untold potential and dreams wrapped in the small bundle in your arms.

But for Jenny Miller, the dreams of the future for her child were shattered when her baby did not develop normally. In the following years, Jenny's challenge was "to see her daughters as God saw them - perfect." Jenny wrote a book about her handicapped daughters to share the lessons that her daughters taught her.



I wrote about the book, Life as a Gift by Jenny Miller last fall. It is a book that made me laugh, cry, and cherish my children more. Sometimes in the midst of the muddle of living, I need reminded that life is precious. Often I take for granted, or even resent, the hours of time I spend with my children. Jenny reminded me to thank the Lord for the blessing of life and health.

Though Jenny walked through difficult days, the ultimate song of the book is one of thanksgiving and hope. Jenny's testimony of seeking to bring God glory through her pain is a message that can speak to all of us.
