Charlie's Soap

It has been over a year since I first mentioned my love for Charlie's Soap. I found Charlie's Soap when looking for a fragrance free detergent to possibly help my daughter's skin rashes.

Charlie's Soap is a dry powder detergent and I use only ONE tablespoon per load. I really thought it couldn't possibly get clothes clean with that tiny amount of detergent - but it does! And I've tested it on lots of stinking diapers!!!

Of course, with using only one tablespoon, a bag lasts a very long time and only costs pennies a load! The best part is that I'm not always running out of detergent and needing to do an emergency run to the store or dealing with all those empty detergent bottles.

It is unscented and does not have that same fresh detergent smell that you may be accustomed to, but I figure no smell is a clean smell and I don't have any fragrance chemicals that are just hiding dirt!

Since I first wrote about Charlie's Soap last year in the newsletters, several readers have tried it and been very pleased. Even my mom is now using Charlie's Soap! With eight persons on a dairy farm, they generate a huge amount of laundry! One bucket of Charlie's Soap lasted my mom almost an entire year!
